PC \/ SC seems not to work properly – please follow the\u00a0steps bellow<\/h2>\n

In Windows 7, 8 and 10\u00a0are may be problematic with the service that controls the smart card reader. It is caused by a stopped service SmartCard (in Czech localization Windows service called \u010cipov\u00e1 karta). In most cases, just the service in Windows\u00a0service list looks and run. Startup Type must be Automatic.<\/p>\n

If you get an error when starting SmartCard, you need to fix the Windows registry as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Download:\u00a0scardsvr.rar<\/a>\u00a0– then unpack.<\/p>\n

2. After unpacking is created the file scardsvr.reg – double-click on them and than Allow registry changes.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Restart the PC.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0The PC \/ SC interface requires a\u00a0smart card reader\u00a0<\/strong>in addition to the SmartCard service.\u00a0If you are not using it, you need to connect it at least once<\/strong> and wait for Windows to install the drivers.<\/p>\n

Problem starting CarTracker – repeating the Registration Form<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Enable the display of hidden files and folders<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– Open Explorer Options (in Windows 10, click the Windows icon at the bottom left and type Explorer Options)<\/span>
\n– on the View tab, find “Show hidden files, folders, and drives” – and click to enable this option<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Open the path: C: \\ ProgramData \\ Software \\ TDCS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

– click to open: My Computer – Local Disk C: – ProgramData – Software – TDCS<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Allow all users (USERS \/ DomainUsers) to edit and fully access the CarTracker folder in security<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

– on the CarTracker Folder icon, open Properties (right-click) – Open the Security tab<\/span>
\n– Click the Edit button<\/span>
\n– find Users in the list of groups and names<\/span>
\n– At the bottom of this list, click to enable Full Access and Edit<\/span>
\n– close both windows with OK<\/span><\/p>\n
