It is caused by a stopped service SmartCard (in Czech localization Windows service called \u010cipov\u00e1 karta). In most cases, just the service in Windows\u00a0service list looks and run. Startup Type must be Automatic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you get an error when starting SmartCard, you need to fix the Windows registry as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Download:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cartracker.sk\/userfiles\/download\/scardsvr.rar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">scardsvr.rar<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; then unpack.<\/p>\n<p>2. After unpacking is created the file scardsvr.reg &#8211; double-click on them and than Allow registry changes.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0<strong>Restart the PC.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0The PC \/ SC interface requires a\u00a0<strong>smart card reader\u00a0<\/strong>in addition to the SmartCard service.\u00a0<strong>If you are not using it, you need to connect it at least once<\/strong> and wait for Windows to install the drivers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Problem starting CarTracker &#8211; repeating the Registration Form<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>1. Enable the display of hidden files and folders<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&#8211; Open Explorer Options (in Windows 10, click the Windows icon at the bottom left and type Explorer Options)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&#8211; on the View tab, find &#8220;Show hidden files, folders, and drives&#8221; &#8211; and click to enable this option<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>2. Open the path: C: \\ ProgramData \\ Software \\ TDCS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&#8211; click to open: My Computer &#8211; Local Disk C: &#8211; ProgramData &#8211; Software &#8211; TDCS<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">3. Allow all users (USERS \/ DomainUsers) to edit and fully access the CarTracker folder in security<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&#8211; on the CarTracker Folder icon, open Properties (right-click) &#8211; Open the Security tab<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&#8211; Click the Edit button<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&#8211; find Users in the list of groups and names<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&#8211; At the bottom of this list, click to enable Full Access and Edit<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">&#8211; close both windows with OK<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>4.
